Well it’s about time! Finally our thicksational queen is being recognized for all of her hard work and accomplishments.

BET is honoring Queen Latifah at their third annual “BET Honors” event. The show will take place in Washington, DC on January 16 and will air on February 1 at 8pm. Whitney Houston, Sean “Diddy” Combs, educator Ruth Simmons and neurosurgeon Keith Black will also receive honors.

Queen Latifah has been in the game for OVER 20 years so this is long overdue. Congrats Queen you deserve it!

FYI…..thickettes Jennifer Hudson and Patti LaBelle are going to perform.
