JENNIFER HUDSON’S MOTHER AND BROTHER WERE FOUND SHOT TO DEATH IN HER MOTHER’S HOME.

Sources confirm to E! News that Jennifer Hudson’s mother, 57-year-old Darnell Donerson, was found dead Friday afternoon in a house on the South Side of Chicago that is listed in Donerson’s name.

Officer John Mirabelli of the Chicago Police Department tells E! that officers were called to the 7000 block of Yale Avenue in the neighborhood of Englewood, where just before 3 p.m. they discovered two unresponsive adults-one male, one female-who had apparently been shot to death.

The shooting is at this time believed to be domestic, according to police. Various reports are claiming that the other victim was Hudson’s older brother, Jason Hudson.

A 7-year-old boy named Julian King has also been reported missing, but authorities aren’t confirming whether he’s a relative of Jennifer Hudson.

Per the Chicago Tribune, police are looking for a white 1994 Chevrolet Suburban registered to Jason Hudson with Illinois license plate No. X584859. They say the boy could be inside.

Mirabelli could not confirm the victims’ identities, but a source close to Jennifer Hudson confirmed to E! that a representative of the family’s church, Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist, had been told by a family member that Darnell Donerson had been killed.

A police spokeswoman told the Tribune that the female victim was shot in the head, while a 29-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. (Source)

Tubbs Jones, 58, died Wednesday evening of a brain hemorrhage caused by an aneurysm that burst and left her with limited brain function, said Eileen Sheil, a spokeswoman for the Cleveland Clinic, which owns the Huron Hospital in East Cleveland where Tubbs Jones died.

“Throughout the course of the day and into this evening, Congresswoman Tubbs Jones’ medical condition declined,” Sheil said in a statement from the clinic and Tubbs Jones’ family.

The liberal Democrat, first elected in 1998, suffered the hemorrhage while driving her car in Cleveland Heights Tuesday night, said Dr. Gus Kious, president of Huron Hospital. The car went out of control and crossed lanes of traffic before coming to a stop, police said. An officer found the ailing lawmaker.

A brain aneurysm is a bulge in an artery in the brain. It can leak or rupture, causing bleeding in the brain.

TENNESSEE — Isaac Hayes, the pioneering singer, songwriter and musician whose relentless “Theme From Shaft” won Academy and Grammy awards, has been found dead at home. He was 65.

A family member found him unresponsive near a treadmill and he was pronounced dead an hour later at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, according to the sheriff’s office. The cause of death was not immediately known.

In the early 1970s, Hayes laid the groundwork for disco, for what became known as urban-contemporary music and for romantic crooners like Barry White. And he was rapping before there was rap.

His career hit another high in 1997 when he became the voice of Chef, the sensible school cook and devoted ladies man on the animated TV show “South Park.”

Steve Shular, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office, said authorities received a 911 call after Hayes’ wife and young son and his wife’s cousin returned home from the grocery store and found him collapsed in a downstairs bedroom. A sheriff’s deputy administered CPR until paramedics arrived.

BERNIE MAC DIED THIS MORNING AT NORTHWESTERN MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IN CHICAGO. THE CAUSE OF DEATH HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED HOWEVER BERNIE WAS RECENTLY HOSPITALIZED FOR PNEUMONIA. 

WOW I AM STILL SHOCKED ABOUT THIS NEWS. BERNIE MAC WAS A LEGEND IN THE COMEDY WORLD AND HE WILL BE MISSED. PLEASE PRAY FOR THE FAMILY THICKETTES.

A Time Square club worker confessed to bludgeoning a drunken Queens woman and stuffing her body in a rooftop shed during a star-studded birthday party for rapper Lil’ Kim, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Thursday.
Sayed Rahman told cops he lured Ingrid (China) Rivera, 24, to the roof of the Spotlight Live club, where he may have sexually assaulted her before smashing her head in with a pipe.
“It hurts so much to lose her,” Rivera’s friend, Sasha Castillo, told the Daily News. “I can’t believe he killed her.”
Rahman, who stocked the bar and carried ice, told investigators he targeted Rivera because she looked drunk after being kicked out of the club, which was packed with rap stars like Missy Elliott, Busta Rhymes and Wyclef Jean.

Promising that he could get her back into the glitzy karaoke joint, Rahman led her to a freight elevator and whisked her to the VIP “Penthouse” room on the roof, sources said.

Up on the roof, Rahman, 24, may have tried to rape or rob Rivera, Kelly said.

Rahman, who is about 5-feet-4, apparently snapped when Rivera resisted and used a metal pipe to bash her twice in the back of the head. Then he jammed her lifeless body into a rooftop electrical room.

He was charged with second-degree murder. (Source)

Thicksational DJ K-Swift died from a swimming accident this morning.

29-year-old Khia Edgerton, also known as “K-Swift” was found Monday morning at her northeast Baltimore home in the 4300-block of Arizona Avenue.

Police initially responded to Good Samaritan Hospital for crowd control. They interviewed people there.

They say K-Swift was giving a pool party at her home earlier in the day. She had been drinking extensively before getting into the pool.

Witnesses told police there were several people in the pool when Edgerton jumped in, but none of the swimmers were alarmed when she didn’t immediately resurface.

There were also lifeguards present.

After time had passed and she still didn’t surface, they got alarmed and jumped in.

They were able to pull her out to the side of the pool. Medics were called but no one at the party attempted CPR while they were waiting.

When medics got there, they attempted CPR to no avail. She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

When police arrived at the house to investigate the pool was very cloudy and the area was dimly lit.

She broke ground as a female DJ on 92 Q Jams and rose to female mix show coordinator. She is one of the only women in the country to hold the title.

Her death is being investigated by Baltimore City police as a suspicious death. {Source}

We are deeply saddened and it is our deepest regret to inform you that the 92Q family, the music industry, and the community has suffered an incredible loss. Early Monday morning, Khia Edgerton, better known as, K-Swift, passed away.

K-Swift has been with 92Q for ten years and in that time she grew to become one of our most popular DJs and known throughout the world as the Baltimore “Club Queen.”

She leaves behind a mother, a sister, and a large extended family.

This is terrible loss and a terrible day for 92Q and the entire community.
