THE HATER

Filed under: Haters, Thicksational Inspiration — Krys Nicole @ 3:00 pm

For a very long time I really hated this word. I felt “hater” was an overused word that people used even when you simply stated your opinion and for the most part this is still true, HOWEVER I’ve come to realize that there are truly haters in the world and I have come up with my own definition.

THE HATER – A hater is someone who takes their disgust on things that you do or are involved in to a whole new level. Now let me give you an example of what is not a hater to me.

Blogging, tweeting or facebooking about your opinion.
* These 3 things have become people’s personal diaries. Everyone should have the right to post whatever the hell they want to on their blogs, twitter and facebook because it belongs to them. If you put something on their about me, my style, my creativity etc. that’s your opinion. I can’t do anything about that and really don’t want to, because I would not want someone to come on my personal pages and tell me what I should do. Now if my love ones or fans say something hey that’s on you. You put it out there be ready to take it.

NOW……

When it becomes a point where every time I go to a site and I have something up you are putting your negative comments every where….that’s when I become puzzled and straight scared for my safety because there is clearly some emotions involved. It takes a lot for someone to go on different sites and talk about how much they don’t like something right? So why would they do it…….oh its simple they are THE HATER.

You also know someone is a hater when they get super emotional when someone confronts them on their hate. They start cursing, calling you names, and play the victim like typical haters/emotional vampires do. If you can’t express yourself in an intelligent way about this “opinion” you only claim to have (not personal) maybe to the core of you there is also a lot of inner hate, that brings the HATE out towards others.

Sometimes I like to talk to my haters, not because I want them to stop hating, hell I need them to hate because that makes me better. But I really want to see their logic in going to different sites or different people to say the same ish they’ve been saying for hours, days, weeks, months, YEARS!

Ok I get it, you may not like me, you may not like my writing, creativity, nose, belly, moles, nostrils but WHY DO YOU WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW? Why take time out of your days to keep talking about how you don’t like something.

Well I guess T.I. said it best……IT’S THEIR JOB!

No matter how much you try to talk to people in a civilized way, they will always get defensive because they don’t even know why they are doing the things that they are doing. That is the only way they know how to be. It has to be a horrible way to live but hey someone has to do the job right? Just pray for them and keep it moving….so to THE HATERS out there….this is for you.

Muah I love ya haters! Have a thicksational day!

THICKETTE WINS LOTTO BUT IS ALREADY LIVING THE LOTTO LIFE!

Filed under: Articles, News, Thicksational Inspiration — Tags: , — Krys Nicole @ 7:00 am

Interesting….I was just talking about living your Lotto Life last week. Well Marcia Adams a thickette from Atlanta, GA won the Mega Millions last week and won 52 MILLION DOLLARS.

Check this out:

The 33-year-old College Park accountant was the winner of the $72 million Mega Millions jackpot. She opted to take the lump-sum amount of $52 million.

What is she doing first?

“I’m hiring a financial planner,” Adams said.

Adams and her boyfriend went to the Chevron Food Mart on Buffington Road around 10 p.m. Tuesday to buy a Hershey’s candy bar, Adams told reporters Thursday at Georgia Lottery headquarters.

“I told him to buy me a Quik Pik,” she said. “He picked up one for himself and left the candy.”

That was less than an hour before the drawing.

“I knew somebody won,” Adams said. “But I didn’t think for a moment that is was that ticket.

Thursday morning, as they were driving to work, they saw a lottery billboard and remembered the tickets they bought two days earlier that were left in the center console of the car.

“He checked the number on his phone, and screamed my name,” Adams said. “We pulled over to the side of the highway so I could check the number again. Then I said, ‘We’ve got to get to the nearest store so I could check the numbers again.”

The winning numbers matched her ticket : 10-22-24-36-49 and 33 for the Mega Ball.
But Adams said she needed even more verification.

“I emailed my job to tell them I wouldn’t be in today, found directions to the lottery office, and came straight here,” she said.

Even after official confirmation from lottery officials that she’d won, Adams said the truth was difficult to grasp.

“It still hasn’t set in,” she said. “It seems like it’s somebody else besides me.”
By taking the cash option, Adams leaves $20 million on the table and takes a gross win of $52 million. After state and federal taxes take another 35 percent, she still will pocket about $33.8 million.

“That’s plenty,” Adams joked.

Still, don’t look for the 12-year corporate accountant to leave her job.

“I love what I do,” she said. “I have a purpose.”

And hiring a financial planner will help her put her money where it will do her and her family the most good.

“I want this money to last so I can retire early, not retire now,” Adams said, “and be comfortable and make sure that my family is comfortable.”

She said she wants to be certain the investments she makes are smart.

“I want to make sure every investment is done with a sound mind, not just personal feelings,” Adams said.

On her short list of things to do with her new-found wealth: “My boyfriend [of seven years] and I are going to plan our wedding,” Adams said.

“Take a family trip. I don’t know where, but just as long as we’re together.”

She does intend to share with her family – parents who are retired in south Georgia and two sisters.

“We’re going to sit down with my parents, who have had some medical issues lately, and make sure their affairs are in order,” Adams said.

But she hasn’t pinpointed any particular “must-have” extravagances to spoil herself with, so far.

Except maybe one, that Adams noted might be a necessity after all the media attention her windfall could bring.

“I’ll probably get another house, only because now, my name is out,” she said. (Source)

Now this is a thickette who has her head on straight.  She was already living her LOTTO LIFE and doesn’t plan to stop because she won the MEGA MILLIONS. Kudos to you thickette and congrats!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OPRAH!

Oprah turns 58 today! I don’t care what your opinion is about Ms. Winfrey. There have been times where she made us laugh, things that she said that made us mad, and inspirational speeches that made us cry. Oprah is an excellent example that you can turn nothing into EVERYTHING if you focus on your purpose and think, speak and live positive!

Happy Birthday Lady O! Thank you for the inspiration.

2012: LIVE THE LOTTO LIFE

Filed under: Thicksational Inspiration, Time to Talk — Tags: — Krys Nicole @ 6:00 pm

Be honest at least once in your life you have said “I wish I could win the Lotto”. Some of you are faithful lotto players and buy weekly tickets hoping to get that chance to win BIG. You take a risk to attempt to win the Lotto but, why is it so important to win?
Do you think winning millions will solve all of your problems?
Are you one of those people who constantly say…

“If I win I would pay off my debt.”
“If I win I would buy a big house and nice car.”
“If I win I would finally be happy.” (Yeah Right!)

Truth is most millionaires did not make their money winning the lotto, and most people who are happy and fulfilled are NOT millionaires. So thickettes when people tell me they wish they could win the Lotto.

My reply is…..

LIVE THE LOTTO LIFE NOW!

What do I mean by that?
Well lets take a look at the definition of Lottery shall we…..

LOTTERY: An event or affair whose outcome is or seems to be determine by CHANCE.

I believe it is in our nature to have a “I wish I could” mentality because society has taught us only certain people can be or are privileged. However that mindset is the reason why we can’t continue to grow and prosper. So for 2012 don’t say you are not…say YOU ARE, don’t say you wish…say YOU WILL and dammit don’t say you could…say YOU CAN.  You have the right to live THE LOTTO LIFE, and will achieve it if you start by taking a CHANCE. Do not determine your life by saying what you wish you could do.

SAY YOU ARE,WILL AND CAN DO!

What’s interesting is the odds of you winning in your life versus winning the Mega Millions is much greater and yet most are still afraid to take a chance. The purpose of living your LOTTO LIFE is to focus on what you have and will have in the future instead of what you don’t have and what you had or went through in the past.

Alter your thinking for 2012 and LIVE YOUR LOTTO LIFE.
Turn your IF’s to I CAN, I HAVE AND I WILL!

After all when you play the lotto you are talking a chance, why not play for your goals the same way.

Modify the way you think and change your outcome.

Have a THICKSATIONAL 2012 Thickettes!

WHAT DID YOU LEAVE BEHIND?

Filed under: Ask Krys Nicole, Thicksational Inspiration — Krys Nicole @ 8:25 am

HELLO 2011 and………..

We made it another year Thickettes and Happy New Year to you all!

When we were going into 2010, I wrote about Y.O.U for the new year. This year I want to know………………

What did YOU leave in 2010?

What do I mean? Well….let me explain. :)

If we stay honest with ourselves no one has had an absolute perfect 2010. We all have trails and are tested but those trails DO NOT have to carry over year after year.

Often we are so consumed with our troubles that we hold on to them for years and block so many positive things that could have come into our lives.

2011 is the year of LIBERATION!

We can no longer let our problems shackle us, leave your problems behind and start anew!

Let me give you some examples

Fake friends or significant others: If you were friends or with this person during 2010 chances are you already know if you can fix it, accept it or remove yourself from it and if you know they were fakes, liars, and cheaters in 2010, chances are THEY WILL BE THE SAME IN 2011. If you know these people have hindered you in 2010 LEAVE THEM THERE.

The Job Hunt: Unemployment frustration can be a beast but bringing negative thoughts about not being able to find a job CANNOT and WILL NOT be beneficial for your employment opportunities in 2011 so leave those thoughts behind AND CLAIM YOUR JOB FOR 2011!

Financial Woes: Most of the world has had this issue but to bring your hard up thoughts from the past can lead to more hard up times in the future. So THINK PROSPERITY for 2011.

Keep the negative in 2010 and push forward with positivity in 2011.

So thickettes what did you leave behind in 2010 and what will you bring for 2011?!

HAVE A THICKSATIONAL NEW YEAR!

THE POWER OF BEING A STRONG WOMAN BY THE SELF ESTEEM QUEEN

Filed under: Thicksational Inspiration, Time to Talk — Tags: , — Krys Nicole @ 8:55 am

For those who have emailed me about being a strong woman. This is for you. :)

The Power of Being A Strong Woman (not for the weak-minded).

By: Dawn “The Self-Esteem Queen”™

Powerful women know that failure is never an acceptable option.

Though I’m always thankful to Adam for his rib, I know that there are some things that God only gave me in terms of wisdom. There are many women in the World who are afraid to step out from the shadow of their non-creative self due to the fear that as a woman, they will not be able to get ahead. Even with so many strong women making their mark in society as prominent authoritative figures, there is that crowd that walks around in needless fear. These women MUST know that they hold the power that keeps them in bondage and the power to get out and become what they daydream about.

Strong women have learned that influence is a gift from God that shouldn’t be used to manipulate their professional and personal life.

Often the powerful woman must straddle the fence of exuding confidence while simultaneously learning how not to allow that confidence to alter her judgments when dealing with others. There are some who become alert to their power to influence others and use this to their advantage in a malicious manner to make profits from their power. Strong women DON’T manipulate those they serve. This is a fact.

I don’t seek recognition for my good deeds from earthly persons.

There was a time when I wanted to let everyone know how great I was, how wonderful all my accomplishments were, and how I was just so great. I have since learned that this is not a way to possess my power. I get power each time my path is directed in a way I cannot explain. My power lies in letting my Guide make my heavy decisions. Whenever someone steps up to recognize something I have done, I am always quick to acknowledge the assistance I received from the Universe instead of taking all the credit.

Strong women know power is in the silence of your mouth and the loudness of your deeds.

I always say, “Your actions speak to loud I can’t hear anything you say.” Oftentimes we get caught up in trying to let others know who we are and what we stand for. The art of being a strong woman is that you already exude that from the confidence of your walk to the authority you command when your actions speak volumes for your mouth. I was once told that those who speak a lot only like to hear the sounds of their voices. A strong woman knows that actions mean more to the World than a good speech any day.

I walk in awareness of my importance.

I spend most of my time in a state of reflection with God. Early in my career I determined that I was not going to let people or things in life dictate my happiness. I have been tried and tested and this has taught me that being influential causes you to be a target for the “nay-sayers” and “you can’t accomplish that” venom throwers. The key, a strong woman knows, is continuing on the path that will eventually lead you to your purpose no matter what those who seek to destroy your dream will say.
