A new show called “Huge” (hate the title) starring Nikki Blonsky premieres on Monday, June 28th on ABC Family.

“Huge” is a heartwarming drama that focuses on seven teens from different backgrounds attending a weight loss camp as they embark on their individual journeys of self discovery. The series will follow the emotional journey of the campers as they deal with issues including self-esteem, friendship, rivalry, romance and body image. (Source)

I am all for another show that caters to our community but let’s hope its a show that SHOWS us in a POSITIVE light. The name of the show and the “Fat” Camp location doesn’t sound positive but I will hold my judgement until the show airs.

THICKETTE NIKKIE BLONSKY WAS ARRESTED AFTER KICKING BIANCA GOLDEN’S (ANTM) A**! WELL I DON’T KNOW IF SHE KICKED HER A** BUT LET’S HOPE FOR THE BEST!

Nikki Blonsky, the young actress who had her breakthrough in last year’s “Hairspray” alongside John Travolta, was involved in one very interesting incident on Thursday, which led to injuries, hospitalization and arrests for those implicated.

Here’s one you don’t hear everyday: “Hairspray” star Nikki Blonsky, her father, former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Bianca Golden, and the latter’s mother participated in what appears to be a violent fight in a Caribbean airport.

The conflict reportedly originated over saved seats in the departure lounge at Providenciales International Airport, in the Turks and Caicos Island. Nikki Blonsky tried to save several seats for family members, a gesture which Bianca Golden apparently did not appreciate.

Golden attempted to take one of the seats for herself, after which things escalated. The Caribbean Net News reports racial insults were allegedly proffered.

Nikki Blonsky, 19, her father Carl Blonsky and Bianca Golden, 19, were all arrested. The young women were charged with assault with actual bodily harm, while Carl Blonsky was charged assault with grievous bodily harm.

Nikki Blonsky and Bianca Golden were released on bail. They have been ordered to appear back in court later this month.

Carl Blonsky remains in custody until August 8.

At least one account of the incident alleges that the tussle began when the Golden family asked the Blonskys to move their luggage from airport lounge seats. After moving their belongings, the Blonsky family reportedly began making racially charged remarks, including using the “N-word,” Maria Williams, Bianca’s cousin claimed in the Post.

“Bianca sat and listened and tried to ignore it until it got too much for her, and then she told Nikki to shut her mouth,” Williams reportedly told the Post.

A different source reportedly told the newspaper the situation got heated after someone with the Goldens allegedly said, “I don’t want to sit next to any white b****.”

WELL BASED ON THEIR HISTORY I WILL HAVE TO GO ON NIKKI’S SIDE. WE ALL KNOW HOW BIANCA’S MOUTH IS AND I HAVEN’T HEARD ANYTHING NEGATIVE ABOUT NIKKI. BIANCA’S MOTHER ELAINE GOLDEN SUFFERED A CRACKED SKULL AND BROKEN NOSE IN THE FIGHT.

“She’s still in a lot of pain,” Bianca Golden’s aunt, Annette Glinton, reportedly told the newspaper earlier this week. “She was just trying to get her daughter away from those people.”

Glinton alleges “a big man” — thought to be Carl Blonsky, repeatedly punched Elaine Golden in the head.

Carl Blonsky remains in custody in Turks and Caicos. According to the Post, a relative of the family claimed that the Blonskys are unable to post his $75,000 bail. He faces a charge of “grievous bodily harm” and is expected to remain in police custody through August 8.

As previously reported, Nikki was charged with actual bodily harm, a police spokesperson confirmed to Access Hollywood. Nikki was released on $6,000 cash bail.

“ANTM” contestant Bianca was also charged with actual bodily harm and released on $6,000 surety bail. The model was released on her own accord with the promise of returning for a court date on September 17.
