Interesting….I was just talking about living your Lotto Life last week. Well Marcia Adams a thickette from Atlanta, GA won the Mega Millions last week and won 52 MILLION DOLLARS.

The 33-year-old College Park accountant was the winner of the $72 million Mega Millions jackpot. She opted to take the lump-sum amount of $52 million.
What is she doing first?
“I’m hiring a financial planner,” Adams said.
Adams and her boyfriend went to the Chevron Food Mart on Buffington Road around 10 p.m. Tuesday to buy a Hershey’s candy bar, Adams told reporters Thursday at Georgia Lottery headquarters.
“I told him to buy me a Quik Pik,” she said. “He picked up one for himself and left the candy.”
That was less than an hour before the drawing.
“I knew somebody won,” Adams said. “But I didn’t think for a moment that is was that ticket.
Thursday morning, as they were driving to work, they saw a lottery billboard and remembered the tickets they bought two days earlier that were left in the center console of the car.
“He checked the number on his phone, and screamed my name,” Adams said. “We pulled over to the side of the highway so I could check the number again. Then I said, ‘We’ve got to get to the nearest store so I could check the numbers again.”
The winning numbers matched her ticket : 10-22-24-36-49 and 33 for the Mega Ball. But Adams said she needed even more verification.
“I emailed my job to tell them I wouldn’t be in today, found directions to the lottery office, and came straight here,” she said.
Even after official confirmation from lottery officials that she’d won, Adams said the truth was difficult to grasp.
“It still hasn’t set in,” she said. “It seems like it’s somebody else besides me.” By taking the cash option, Adams leaves $20 million on the table and takes a gross win of $52 million. After state and federal taxes take another 35 percent, she still will pocket about $33.8 million.
“That’s plenty,” Adams joked.
Still, don’t look for the 12-year corporate accountant to leave her job.
“I love what I do,” she said. “I have a purpose.”
And hiring a financial planner will help her put her money where it will do her and her family the most good.
“I want this money to last so I can retire early, not retire now,” Adams said, “and be comfortable and make sure that my family is comfortable.”
She said she wants to be certain the investments she makes are smart.
“I want to make sure every investment is done with a sound mind, not just personal feelings,” Adams said.
On her short list of things to do with her new-found wealth: “My boyfriend [of seven years] and I are going to plan our wedding,” Adams said.
“Take a family trip. I don’t know where, but just as long as we’re together.”
She does intend to share with her family – parents who are retired in south Georgia and two sisters.
“We’re going to sit down with my parents, who have had some medical issues lately, and make sure their affairs are in order,” Adams said.
But she hasn’t pinpointed any particular “must-have” extravagances to spoil herself with, so far.
Except maybe one, that Adams noted might be a necessity after all the media attention her windfall could bring.
“I’ll probably get another house, only because now, my name is out,” she said. (Source)

I absolutely LOVED this dress on Amber. The red popped and it showed all of her curves. Oh and her boobs stayed in place. Gotta love that when you are a thickette wearing a strapless dress! Ha!
During V-Day so many thickettes were saying there is a lack of men for thicksational ladies. Well thickettes as much as we like to say there aren’t enough good man for plus size women….trust me THEY ARE OUT THERE!

Tuesday’s episode of “Glee” featured the studly Puck (Mark Salling) longing for the attention of Lauren, played by plus-size actress Ashley Fink, who is unimpressed with the mohawked hottie. Now ET is chatting with real-life men who like big women and say pining for the attention of full-figured ladies is the norm for them.
“I guess I am a chubby chaser,” Josh Harraway tells ET. “I think there are a lot of really attractive women that don’t fit that really skinny mold and they have a different attitude about things than really skinny girls, and there is something attractive about them that would make you want to chase chubbier women.”
Brandon Richardson says although he doesn’t like the term chubby chaser, he knows that big is the American way, and he’s fine with that.
“The first reason, which is obvious, is curves,” he says of why he prefers plump. “It’s what a real woman looks like — the majority of women look like in America.”
Both men say “Glee” got it right with Fink’s storyline and character.
“I like her swag, she definitely has the big girl, ‘I’m beautiful’ attitude,” Richardson says.
“It’s almost like the social pressure is telling you, ‘don’t be with her, what are your friends going to say? You take her out, people are going to look and judge you,’” Harraway says. “If that was gone, there would be a lot of guys like Puck.” (Source: ETonline)
It will take some time for society to accept men dating plus size women and as much as people say they do not care what society thinks….THEY DO!

I ask you thickettes is there anything we can do as plus size women to make the men who admire us feel more comfortable dating us?
Let me guess….some of you are saying “Why do I have to make them feel comfortable? They should be man enough to take me out and not care what society thinks!”
We wish it could be that easy and the reality is love is hard work. If you are trying to find love or you’re in love or trying to keep love it takes dedication. Finding the right one is already a tough task and being under pressure with what society may think doesn’t make it better. As much as we think the man is suppose to do all the work we as women have to put in the same effort.

FOX 11 in L.A. obtained LAPD detectives notes from a search warrant in the case. According to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt. Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes. Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. Brown allegedly told Rihanna, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.â€
Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.â€Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.â€
According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock — she almost lost consciousness.
What the hell! Chris has been charged with two felonies but I want his punk a** is jail. Even if its for 3 months he needs to get his a** beat by a man who’s locked up!
