Janet kicked off the American Music Awards last night and she did her thing!
During and after her performance I was on Twitter and while most of us was sending nothing but positive energy to Janet…of course an ignorant person comes in and tried to ruin the moment.

Now of course you already know which comment got my temperature up! First of all Janet is still mourning…she lost her brother unexpectedly and just ended a relationship after 7 years. She is (like a lot of people) an emotional eater and needs time to heal.
BUT!
Even if she wasn’t mourning, Janet looks fine! She is for the first time in her life comfortable in her own skin and is happy with herself. That speaks louder than any fake a** critic who clearly has forgotten that he is also apart of our plus size community. I will never understand how someone can talk down to another person in the same community. This is truly an example of SELF HATE. Janet has a body that many women would die for and some will even pay to get her curves. She is 43 years old and once again put the youngsters in their place with her dance moves.

Also, ABC journalist Robin Roberts will interview Janet at her California home in an hour-long special on November 18th and yes she is going to talk about her brother.
I’m excited for JJ! She has big things coming up and for all the people who thought her career was over…..

If you think for one moment that Beyonce randomly asked Taylor Swift to come on stage….THINK AGAIN! That ish was planned! Taylor was already backstage when she called her out so that only means one thing… MTV asked Beyonce to share the stage with Taylor. Beyonce should have said something as soon as her stupid a** friend Kanye went on stage. She didn’t stand like the rest of the audience when he pulled that moved, Beyonce is not genuine she is an opportunist…anything to make her look good works for her.

JJ will pay tribute to her brother at the MOBO Awards in the UK Sept 9th. She is also working on a new album that is set to be released in early 2010 not to mention her movie “Why Did I Get Married” coming out as well. So for the haters who think Janet is done think again! I think her motivation is 10 times stronger now that her brother is gone. She is going to continue her legacy and his!
