Having a thicksational model on the runway causes some to lose their jobs?
WELL YOU’RE FIRED JERK!
Designer Fast, known for his tight knitted dresses used both slender and curvier women for his show. He included three plus size models from the agency 12+ UK- Hayley Morley, 21, a size 12, Laura Catterall, 20, a size 14, and Gwyneth Harrison, 25, a size 12-14.
Amanda May, managing director for the Canadian designer said there were “creative differences with regards to the casting of those girls. There was a team change and we’re glad we stuck to our vision.”
“The decision to use the fuller girls is something we have been talking about. There’s this idea that only thin and slender women are able to wear Mark’s dresses and he wanted to combat that,” she said,
She added: “We wanted women to know they don’t have to be a size zero to wear a Mark Fast dress- curvier women can look even better in one.†(Source)
Do our curves intimidate that many people? Why are people so concerned about our weight when there are so many other issues in the world?
HEY THICKETTES! DID YOU MISS ME? WELL I AM BACK SO LET’S GET TO IT!
I don’t know what happened to the stylist for VH1 Divas but I mean damn!

Now I love Jordin’s dress. Kelly’s dress……hmmm I want your opinion thickettes.
The thickettes come together for an interview!
Is it just me…….
Adele look like she is dropping some pounds? Well she is still THICKSATIONAL! Can’t say much about the outfit because that’s her style.
Jennifer looks like she is going to a Star Wars party!
I am all for braids but not when they are pulled back like that!
And the curse of the pleather pants are BACK! (SCREAMS!)

Just weeks after accessorizing the delicious designs of Candi Apple Couture in NYC for Full Figure Fashion Week, Pfatty Girl prepares to formally introduce their Fall 2009 line of striking pieces in Canada and the United States.
“We were the first and frankly the only company designing earrings, necklaces and bracelets for women size 14 to 30 plus”, says Tene Charles, designer and co-owner of Pfatty Girl.
As the premier line of accessories for full-figured women, Pfatty Girl will once again make history as the first accessory line to present a fashion show at The Fuller Woman Expo in Toronto on September 12 and Detroit on September 19, 2009.
Co-owner and designer Julie Thomson states, “I think most women can relate to buying a necklace and bringing it home, only to find that instead of draping across their chest, it fits like a choker. Not to mention how hard it is to find a bracelet that fits.”
Pfatty Girl offers a refreshing change for the 54 per cent of curvaceous women across the continent that enjoy looking and feeling their best. A celebration of size and sexiness is what wearing a Pfatty Girl creation is about.
