Singers are coming from all over to give their tributes to THE VOICE, Whitney Houston. However…….well let me start off by saying I’m not being bias……BUT ARETHA and AMBER RILEY have the best tributes HANDS DOWN.

AMBER HAD ME IN TEARS! I think Amber’s version of “I Will Always Love You” is the best tribute version I’ve ever heard!

I have tried to defend this woman. I LOVE HER as an artist but I am tired of this!

Is that a squirrel attacking your head Aretha? I know it was cold outside but maybe a more appropriate dress for 20 degree weather would have been a better choice!

Oh and thank you for embarrassing the thickettes AGAIN! Everyone else looks normal in the picture but of course you come out looking like a ghetto Eskimo!

The Queen of Soul’s Hollywood star was vandalized this week. The words “fur-hag” were tagged by a anti-fur protester. Rumor has it the anti-fur organization PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is behind the bullsh*t.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am all for people standing up for what they believe in but sometimes they take things too far! Defacing property with the words fur-hag is childish and solves nothing. 

Hell they should know by now Aretha is a DIVA she will still rock her furs after this BS and she will probably start rocking them everyday just to piss them off!

It’s funny but I always see these anti-fur orgs pick on people who they know won’t fight back. I dare them to come at Lil Kim, Diddy or Cam’ron! Ha!

And just in case somebody from PETA or another anti-fur org comes to my site and emails me about some BS. I DON’T WEAR FUR. I live in Cali so I clearly don’t need one but I still think you take things to damn far.

I think all of our Thickettes represented us in a thicksational way.

I know some are talking about Aretha’s hat but I don’t understand. She’s in her 60′s and it’s like a church hat. I thought it was cute on her.

I have to admit she is looking better these days.

She also attended the closing bell at the NYSE. This might be a THICKSATIONAL first!

ARETHA HAS RESPONED TO TINA TURNER REMARKS ABOUT HER EGO BEING TOO BIG.

HERE’S THE SCOOP:

Turner, currently on tour, was silent when Franklin dubbed Beyoncé’s remark “a cheap shot for controversy.” Asked to comment in a USA TODAY interview last week, Turner said, “She’s the queen of soul, and I’m the queen of rock ‘n’ roll. There were so many kings and queens there that night. Her ego must be so big to think she was the only one.” She joked, “That’s how queens are!” (Source)

WELL HERE’S WHAT ARETHA HAS TO SAY:

“I have always appreciated what Tina Turner has to offer and had quietly cheered her on after Ike and her subsequent success. However, with respect to her statement concerning my ego (in saying, ‘Her ego must be so big to think she was the only one … that’s how queens are’) clearly she was talking about herself as she described herself as the ‘Queen of Rock’ and saying ‘that’s what Queens do’ — particularly since she does not have a clue as to who I am in view of the fact that we have never met.

“I never figured her to resort to tacky press just to sell a few tickets. I understand and I know that the concert market is down where ticket sales are concerned. I really had put her in a different class — higher than that.

“Finally, no one has been more gracious or complimentary to their peers than I have and I am confident and secure enough to do so, unlike some others. I wish Ms. Turner all the best, as I always have. Perhaps one day we will meet.” (Source)
