Just Wright is a movie about thickette Leslie Wright (Queen Latifah) who has a great career and a supportive family but can’t seem to find love.
She meets Scott McKnight (Sexy, Delicious Rapper Common) and becomes his Physical Therapist. Leslie and Common begin to have feelings towards each other, but will they end up being together???
Of course I am not going to tell you the ending…but I will say Just Wright is cute and refreshing.
It’s refreshing to see a movie that doesn’t have a lot of profanity and it’s a cute story.
Great Movie? No. The movie was very predictable. However Queen Latifah never disappoints, her acting was phenomenal.
Now Common wasn’t a bad actor but he wasn’t great. That’s ok because his sexy smile, beautiful eyes and nice body makes up for it.
All in all, the movie is a cute romantic comedy and I give it a C+.
There is still something missing from the movie. The chemistry between Wright and McKnight did not seem genuine and the basketball players in the movie were annoying me with their bad acting.
Still support the movie but don’t expect fireworks.

Thickette Chrisette Michele decides to shave her head!

Check out what she said to Vibe Magazine…..

A lot of times we go through different things with processing our hair from relaxing to color treatments, especially with heat styling so being out on the road I had to do a lot of that every day from show to show and it was my price for beauty. The turning point for me to shave my head was when I was out on tour. I had some pieces glued into my head because I didn’t want to dye my own hair, and the glued on piece would not come out of my head so I said I’m shaving my head because this is ridiculous. This does not make me Black. This does not make me a great singer; this makes me have a piece of hair stuck to my head and I was like, “I’m done, I can’t do this anymore.” So I decided I wanted to find beauty in a different way without doing something that was so damaging to something that was precious to me, which is my hair. I could have gotten it out but I said, “No, I’m just gonna shave it off.” And by going all the way back natural it was a much easier route and it was a lot less damaging.

Everybody can’t pull off a hair cut like that but Chrisette looks gorgeous!

Thickette Wendy Williams covers Jet Magazine.
I heart this woman. People hate her or love her but she stays the same so you have to respect that.

Check out what she said about being a family woman.
“Being a family woman at this particular juncture, with my career, it is the one thing that absolutely holds me together and keeps me totally focused,” says the 45-year-old Williams of her husband, Kevin Hunter, and 9-year-old son Kevin Jr. “My business is in New York, but my life, the salt of where I’m from, is here in Jersey.”
“Spending time by myself with no telephone, a little TV, a little crafting, I may put tracks in my wigs or reorganize my white T-shirts …I enjoy my own company, I like the woman that I’ve become,”
Putting tracks in her wigs? Well…..I guess keep doing you Wendy.
