Thickette Jill Scott is being sued by her record label Hidden Beach for breach of contract.

Hidden Beach believed its relationship with the singer would continue through the end of the contract and both sides had worked on developing her next three CDs, including the next one called “The Sun,” according to the complaint.

“It was therefore a complete surprise shock to Hidden Beach when … Scott informed (the label) through her attorneys that she has decided to move on and will no longer perform recording services for Hidden Beach,” the suit states. (Source: Fox)

Also a thicksational.com informant tells us that Jill has been in DIVA mode lately since her acting career has taken off.

Who knows, I hope they work it out. It might be more expensive to leave the label than to finish out the contract.
