“Curves are back with a vengeance” were the words that E! Entertainment Televisions Bank of Hollywood winner Sandy Jean Philippe told the judges as she and her “One Chance” plus sized divas worked the stage showing just why they should win the grand prize to produce a curvaceous fashion show tour. Sean Patterson, President of Wilhelmina Models, couldn’t decide whether he wanted to give Sandy his contacts in the industry or the money so he said “I’m going to give you both!” Those words were validation to Miss Sandy Jean Philippe that she was on the right path to making her dreams come true. Research shows that plus size women have a spending power of $32 billion dollars in sales of clothing, cosmetic imaging, make-up, hair, and every other type of purchase that expands our economy. So why not give the plus size woman a fashion show that is created by them, for them.
