Plus size model Nancy Hayssen proves once again, in an industry dominated by anorexic and bulimic models that you can be sexy at ANY size by taking part in this controversial ad campaign.
She shocked the modeling world this week by posing totally nude on TV for all to see on CBS’ The Insider, weighing in at 169 pounds.
Calling her “Plus Size Perfect†and “Full Figured Fabulous†the media is taking a new look at how beauty is defined. With the constant message in the media that women can only be beautiful if they are skinny to the bone Nancy became determined to prove otherwise.
Coined as the “next Anna Nicole Smithâ€, Nancy proudly says, “I’ve always been happy and confident of my voluptuous body. I believe ‘sexiness’ and beauty is a state of mind.â€
There are over 8 million people in this country who are anorexic, bulimic or have eating disorders. Most of them are young women. “The fashion industry and Hollywood have spread the MYTH that to be thin is in. The truth is—a woman can be beautiful at any shape or size. Thicky Points to Nancy! We should all be proud of her!
Ms. Kirstie Alley has joined the cast of “Nailed,” filming in Columbia, South Carolina.
Alley will play a veterinarian who fails to remove a nail from the head of her niece (Jessica Biel). With the help of a disgruntled teen (Crocicchia), the injured woman travels to Washington to fight for better health care and falls for a congressman (Jake Gyllenhaal).
This is Alley’s first feature role since 2002. Source

Jennifer Hudson has a release date for her upcoming self entitled album. The album will drop this September and her first single “Spotlight†will hit mainstream airwaves June 9th.
Mo’Nique has her own radio show and Syndication One has added her to the national midday shift.

In 1986 Janet released her third album Control and back then, Janet was a THICKETTE! I became a fan when I saw her video Control. To see an artist who was not the average size and could dance and sing better than her competitors was inspiring.

Sources tell me that Oprah will not sell clothes larger than a size 13 in her store because she does not want people to know the sizes she wore in the past.
Sounds stupid right? Well, it is STUPID!
Before I vent let me start by saying I love Oprah! Her achievements are truly inspirational.
Now let’s get to it!
To conquer all the obstacles she has been through and to be the richest woman alive, I am shocked and upset that she still gives a damn about what people think about her! Oprah will always be considered a THICK woman and it’s obvious she has a problem accepting that. I do not have a problem with Oprah being a smaller size. I have a problem with her not embracing the sizes she use to be. When you have been a member of the THICK CLUB for the majority of your life, you can’t deny or separate yourself from the club when you become a smaller size. This is a slap in the face to her full-figure fans. I thought if anybody would give us inspiration about being a thicksational woman and loving who you are it would be Oprah! I know being a celebrity is hard because people judge you for EVERYTHING. However at her level of success should the publics’ opinion on her size matter?
Well it’s about time! Lil Wayne has a full-figure model in his new video Lollipop! It’s refreshing to see that she is a “sex symbol” in the video and Weezy finds her attractive just like the other models. I don’t care for the song but our thickette representative has a lot of camera time! Work it girl it is our time to shine!
