Sources tell me that Oprah will not sell clothes larger than a size 13 in her store because she does not want people to know the sizes she wore in the past.
Sounds stupid right? Well, it is STUPID!
Before I vent let me start by saying I love Oprah! Her achievements are truly inspirational.
Now let’s get to it!
To conquer all the obstacles she has been through and to be the richest woman alive, I am shocked and upset that she still gives a damn about what people think about her! Oprah will always be considered a THICK woman and it’s obvious she has a problem accepting that. I do not have a problem with Oprah being a smaller size. I have a problem with her not embracing the sizes she use to be. When you have been a member of the THICK CLUB for the majority of your life, you can’t deny or separate yourself from the club when you become a smaller size. This is a slap in the face to her full-figure fans. I thought if anybody would give us inspiration about being a thicksational woman and loving who you are it would be Oprah! I know being a celebrity is hard because people judge you for EVERYTHING. However at her level of success should the publics’ opinion on her size matter?
Well it’s about time! Lil Wayne has a full-figure model in his new video Lollipop! It’s refreshing to see that she is a “sex symbol” in the video and Weezy finds her attractive just like the other models. I don’t care for the song but our thickette representative has a lot of camera time! Work it girl it is our time to shine!
